The Future of
General Aviation
Built in Texas

Volozen is building the next generation of carbon-composite, piston-powered aircraft — engineered from scratch for flight schools, owner-pilots, and aerobatic competitors. Right now, a full-scale airframe is taking shape in a workshop outside Budapest. This is not a render. This is real.

The Platform

Two Families. One Airframe.

Volozen is developing two aircraft families on a shared carbon-composite platform — the 4xx four-seat and the 2xx two-seat — covering everything from basic training to high-performance cross-country and aerobatics. One parts pool, one maintenance skillset, multiple missions.

The 4xx family is the primary development focus right now. A full-scale airframe is actively under construction with wing, fuselage, doors, landing gear, and control surfaces all in various stages of fabrication and integration.

“We’re not trying to reinvent everything overnight — that scares people. But rethinking every detail with modern materials and modern technology? That makes total sense. Safer, lighter, easier to maintain. That’s the job.”

Engineering, in Real Time

No vaporware. No render-only product. Composites, machined aluminum, and cured prepreg turning into a real airplane — right now.

Origins

From Composites to Airplanes

The team behind Volozen has spent decades building high-performance carbon-fiber aircraft and composite structures in Hungary — including race planes that have competed internationally. Proprietary processes in carbon-fiber fabrication, custom electronics, and CNC tooling set the foundation for the 4xx / 2xx airframe program.

Mar 2026

The Build Begins

Main spar CNC-machined and assembled. Door frames 3D-printed and fitted. Lower wing skin out of mold. Garmin avionics shipped to Hungary. A DAR is engaged for airworthiness certification.

Apr 2026

Major Component Milestone

Complete wing assembled at 115 kg. Fuel tanks pass 2× FAR 23 burst pressure. Custom electronics on the bench — dimmers, dual-flash strobes, fuel-valve controllers. BRS parachute container out of mold. Yoke system tested. All production jigs for control surfaces complete.

May 2026

Systems Integration

Main landing gear installed in wing with full hydraulics. Door mechanism finalized — top-hinge gull-wing with 7 locking points. Automatic fuel management system assembled. Starlink integrated under dashboard. BRS Kevlar belt channel tested. Fuselage resin infusion underway. Full interior components arriving — silicon cup holders, adjustable vents, seat materials.
